Beginning Quilting
This class will introduce piecing and quilting buy machine. Students will learn tips and tricks - from choosing fabrics to piecing to make your quilting journey successful. Everyone should be comfortable with their sewing machine before class starts. The goal of this class is to have you complete a baby or lap size quilt, and have I can do this feeling from the experience, which will encourage you to quilt more. This class will be a total of eight lessons. Beginning January 26 and ending September 15. Handouts will be provided and some homework required to finish your project.

Christmas in July - Friendship Star Christmas Wreath
This Friendship Star Christmas Wreath pattern works well as a scrappy quilt that will allow you to use your fabric stash, but also works if you buy fat quarters or yardage. Make one for yourself to add to your holiday cheer! Make two and give one to a friend or family member as a sweet gift they can hang every year. The quilt has flanged binding - we will go over how to make this in class. It adds a pop of color to any quilt, and is simple to do. We will also go over several methods to hang a quilt, such as adding a hanging sleeve, ties or tabs, and corner triangles on the back. This is a beginner friendly quilt. The class includes the pattern and the Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer for making half square triangles quick and accurate to trim. Bring your green scraps to class, and what you want to use as background. We will go over how to cut the pieces from scraps, and from yardage. Optional - Red buttons to use as berries. These are sewn on after quilting, so you won't need them during class.
